My 2013 In Pictures!

 Hey Guys,

So 2013 has come to an end and for me personally it's been a bloody fantastic year! Todays post I thought I would share my most memorable moments of the year.

My biggest highlight of the year has to be graduating university with a 2:1 which on the way included; working on a brief with Jelly Belly (the original Jelly Bean), handing in my dissertation, receiving my results, receiving my Michael Kors watch as a well done, graduating and then getting a job I actually want. I told you it's been a big year...

And thats not all other things include; getting glasses, seeing my brother after 30 months, seeing The Big Reunion, Long Island Iced Teas, buying myself a MacBook Pro retina, losing 2 stone, spending lots and lots of time with my friends.

Finally a major highlight of 2013 was starting my blog and I'll take this time to thank everyone for their support. I hope in 2014 my blog just grows bigger and bigger :).

That's my year in pictures and I've had such a good year. They say 13 is unlucky for some but it's truly been my year! 2014 has a lot to live up to but it's looking promising and I already have so much to look forward to, I simply just cannot wait.

What was your highlight of 2013? and what are you looking forward to in 2014?

Catch Up With Me: Volume 3

Hey Guys,

This catch up is definitely needed I have been so ridiculously busy and the good busy where things have actually happened!
Christmas selfie
The last catch up I did was just before my graduation back in mid November (Read me). So oh my god what has been happening, it's going to be long so grab a cuppa before reading, that is your warning. It's been manic with my brother coming home after 30 months, getting a job, graduating, weight loss, Christmas and the rest on top. Let me tell you a bit about the last month...

Firstly my graduation (full post here), the day was amazing, emotional and drunk. I went down to Southampton for 3 nights/4 days and they were all so jam packed. I travelled down on Wednesay, checked into the hotel and met my best friend who gave me my graduation present and I nearly cried. She bought me a Pandora ring that I'd been banging on about for some time, it was such a surprise! Ok that doesn't make the day that busy but it was a highlight. The Thursday I graduated which followed with a very messy night out with all my closest friends. Then the Friday, this was a big day too, I got the phone call to say I had got the job I'd been going for! I was so so happy and relived, this then followed with another drunken night out.
My ring, my brother and I, my friends and I, me in my robes, me and my friend with champagne my bother bought me.

Me on my first day to work

So that was a quick run down of graduation, now onto my new job :D. The job I got was in a digital marketing agency acting as a 'Digital Account Manager' this role contains all thing digital (Search, PPC, SEO and Social). I love it, I'm so happy there and it already feels like I'm part of the furniture. On a daily basis I'm dealing with numbers, formulas and Google analytics. Although I'm currently in a 3 month probation period, it's a real opportunity I can get my teeth stuck into and learn everything about the industry. The people I work with are teaching me so much and pushing me to do my best as well as me pushing for them to make me the best. It' taking a lot of my time up but this is why I went to uni and this is the start of something which could lead to something bloody great.

Kirsty and I in the o2 Blueroon
at The Big Reunion
As well as starting my new job my weekends have been jam packed too! The second weekend in December I went up to London to watch The Big Reunion (full post here) which was a-m-azing. It was so much fun re-living some of my childhood memories and dancing to cheesy pop songs! On the same day I went out in Camden for a few drinks which was fun, I was so hungover the next day. This would have been fine but after staying in North London at my friends flat I then had to travel down to Croydon for my mum's side of the families Christmas do. It was so nice to see all the family especially this time I actually had stuff to talk about like my job and graduation. It was also quite special because my Brother was there too, considering I was hungover I had a good day.

Christmas dinner I cooked
for friends

The following weekend I had some of my closest friends round to my house for a Christmas party where I cooked them a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. The day was so nice we ate, drank, played games, did secret santa, the works! Just like a proper Christmas day!

Normally around Christmas my dad and I would go Xmas shopping together and get everything in one go, however this year because I was working I left all my shopping till Christmas eve..yup..and I worked in the morning, so I had 2 and a half hours to do it all! Manic springs to mind. I did it though and everyone loved there presents which makes all the rushing about worth it!

Christmas day was amazing I had so much fun with my family and friends who came over and again it was so special to have my brother there! I wont go on too much about xmas as I've done a post quite recently (full post here).

Told you it'll be long. I'm just trying to think if I've missed anything.

Oh yes my weight loss! I have now lost 2st 3lb although I will admit over Christmas I've gone a bit astray but 2014 come at me! I've still got another 3 stone to loose. I feel I've sorted my food intakes out so now it's the exercise routine I need to tackle but now I have money from the job I can actually afford to go the gym. Yay. I know I say this a lot about writing a separate post about my weight but would you guys actually want to read about it? if so what do you want me to include, please leave me a comment and let me know or email me if you want (jenfarny@gmail.com) :).

Christmas 2012 and Christmas 2013

I think that's it. Oh wait I'm also taking part in the #2014BloggerChallenge which kicks off this week (full post here) I'm so excited to meet new bloggers and get brought out my blogging zone!

Ok that actually is it! If you've got this far well done you really do deserve a pat on the back haha. It's been quite a month and quite a year at that! I am way too excited to get back to the office and get my career. I won't leave any links below of my most read posts as I've added quite a few links in the post. I hope you've enjoyed reading my ramblings about what I've been up to and I haven't bored you to tears! I have quite a few post lined up for the next week including my 2013 favourites so don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' to stay updated.

Big love and hugs!

The Big Reunion: Christmas Tour

Hey Guys,

This post is really really late but better late than never eh?

So back in September I bought my best friend tickets to go see The Big Reunion Christmas Tour at the o2 in London for her Birthday. For the people who don't know what TBR is, it basically was a TV programme on ITV2 where bands from the 90's got back together and did a tour. The bands involved where; Five, Atomic Kittens, BeWitched, The Honeyz, 911 and Liberty X. I used to love Liberty X and Five! Anyways to say the least it was amazing! The first half they sang all their classics then the second half they sang Christmas songs. So good. We went to the 2:30pm showing as we went out in Camden afterwards for a night out. I had such a good day and thought I'd share a few snaps from the day.

The photos aren't the best quality because I used my Iphone 5s (forgot my silly camera) and where we were sat wasn't exactly far but it wasn't close. One thing I do love about the o2 is because I'm an o2 customer I get to go in the blueroom. It's so nice in there and I love that it's never that busy, also you don't have to que to get inside the arena. Kirsty and I started very early on the cocktails drinking out favourites Long Island Iced Tea. My favourite part of the gig was when BeWitched sang Fairy Tale of New York (my favourite Christmas song) and Shane Lynch from Boyzone came on a screen and sand the male parts. I love Shane Lynch, always have!

It was such a good day and our night in Camden was good too. I can't say I felt great the next day but it was worth it haha. Theres rumours that ITV2 are going to do a second series with like S club 7 and All Saints, if the rumours are true I'm buzzing already!

My Christmas!

Hey Guys,

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and was spoilt rotten! This post is going to be a bit about my day and what I received. I'm not bragging in anyway I just love being nosey and seeing what other people got so I'm sure theres's more people like me out there haha!

Firstly I'm pretty lucky to have such a good Christmas because majority of villages around me didn't have any power (and still don't) because of the massive storm over in the UK. So  my family where so lucky! I'm doubly lucky because this year my older brother was home from his travels, although he's jetted back off today to Rio he was here for the Christmas stuff.

Anyways my day was amazing! My dad and I cooked the dinner and it was so good, if I don't say so myself! I love cooking especially roast dinners. Me and my dad make such a good team in the kitchen and it's always so much fun. Christmas time in my house we always have our family friends round or like next year we'll be going to theirs. We all eat dinner and spend the rest of the day playing games! This year we played a lot of Just Dance and The Logo board game. There like my fake family and now Christmas wouldn't be right without them!

Every year my mum always says 'This year Jenny where going to cut down on presents especially now your older' and I'm pretty sure I get more now than I did when I was younger. Not that I'm complaining!  I think because I am older she knows exactly what I like and what I want but may not by myself. She also which I found very impressive is bought me things from my blog wishlists! Anyways heres what I got given and I am so grateful and feeling very spoilt!

I might do a post tomorrow of my beauty bits in a bit of detail if you guys are interested?

What did you get for Christmas? If you've posted I'd love to see..leave me links haha!

Boots Beauty Calendar: Behind All The doors!

Hi Guys,

It's Christmas tomorrow which meant the last door was to be opened on my advent calendar! As it is the last day I thought I'd show you what I got behind each door. Now I know I said I would do a weekly update of what I got by life just got in the way. So lets get cracking..

I love the fact in this calendar you get such a variety of goodies with a variety of brands. It's been so much fun opening a little treat everyday and I can't wait to get using everything.
The only downfall with this calendar is some of the doors start coming open a little early and also on the back it has all the information of the contents. Other than that it's been great!

Quite a short post tonight because I am knackered from my new job, which I plan to write a catch up with me post very soon where I'll fill you in on what I've been up to. However I now have 3 days off and the weekend where I plan to catch up on all things blogging!

I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas and I'll be back very soon!

Excuses, FYI, Christmas and Thank You. :)

Hi Guys,

I thought I would just write a quick post to why I haven't been very active on here lately! I started a new job 3 weeks ago and with Christmas time I have been so so busy at the weekends with family and friends.

With the opportunity I've been given I need to put 100% in and it's like what I put in I'll get out so I'm trying to stay focused all the time. I love my job so much and I am so happy right now that it's like peek time that I want to write and share it with everyone. However because of this blogging has gone on the back burner slightly. I have all these ideas running through my head and just no time to write them.

What I'm trying to say is stay with me and in the new year I'll start managing my time better! Anybody who's recently followed me I will follow back as soon as I can. When I have a minute to myself it's on the top of the list. I'll tell you what.. if you are a new follower comment on this post and I'll be over in a flash!

I have a half day Christmas Eve so I'm going to try and write some posts ready for the week although I haven't started my xmas shopping yet..so I need to cram that in too! If I don't manage to blog, I'll wish everyone a Happy Christmas now, I hope you have a wonderful time and Santa spoils you, let me know what you get..because I'm nosey like that haha.

Anyways thank you so much for all your support so far and I will be back very very shortly, I promise!!

Lots of Love,

Review Thursday: NIVEA Lip Butter

Hey Guys,

I can't believe it's Thursday already this week is just whizzing by! not that I mind because I'm off to London this weekend to see The Big Reunion. So excited.
Anyways today I am going to write a review of the NIVEA lip butters, mines in vanilla and macadamia but they're also available in raspberry rose and caramel cream. I can't remember where I got mine exactly but you can pick them up in Boots here for £2.25.

First off the one I have smells incredible, it's sweet but not sickly and it's like the smell of the most perfect pudding. Although it smells amazing it doesn't taste of anything, which is good in my books. They come in little tins similar to Vaseline because it has a soft creamy texture. I love the texture of the butter because it melts enough to apply but not so much that it goes everywhere and causes a mess.
Application to the lips simply glides on, it's so smooth. Although once first layer is applied I find my lips feel a little tacky so I put a second layer on and it's good. You can feel that somethings on your lips but it doesn't feel heavy or greasy in anyway. I tend to use this when I'm getting ready in the morning after moisturising so it's a nice base to smooth and hydrate my lips before my lipstick.
However it's also good on it's own because it gives a nice shine but not glossy to the lips.

I don't think theres much more to say other than if you want something less messy and greasy than Vaseline but a little thicker than Maybelline baby lips then this is your guy!

Boots Beauty Calendar Days 1-7.

Hey Guys,

As promised I'm going to post what I've received so far in my Boots Beauty Calendar!

Although I have been loving my little beauty product each day, I'm not sure Boot's have thought some of the design bits through properly. Some of my doors have come open early so I've had to Sellotape them down, but I haven't peeked! Another design fault it the products are pretty hard to get out, some of mine are still lodged in and with the perfume samples you loose half by trying to get them out. Other than that I love it!

I'll continue posting everyday on my Instagram but I'll be back next week with what I get this week. Exciting!

Hope you all are having a good weekend :)

Review Thursday: Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks.

Hey Guys,

This week I bring you a review of Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks. I bought the red one back in summer then the pink one joined me just before my graduation a couple of weeks ago. I really really love these lipsticks and don't actually have a bad word to say about them so if you want a happy nice review then your in the right place.

I really like the square packaging, although it's just plastic they look really nice and sleek. I love that they have some of the colour in the bottom so you can identify them really easily. On the packaging on one side they have all the standard cosmetic details, a blank side, the Rouge Edition writing like you can see above and then finally a embossed Bourjois side which I really like.

They kind of smell like waxy crayons but not strong, so to me it just smells like lipstick. The colour of the stick transferred to lips is very true and the colours are good in pigmentation. The formula is very creamy and glides onto the lips but doesn't smudge so theres no need for lipliner. The colour is slightly glossy but not so like lipgloss so a pleasant shine which lasts for ages and ages. What I've found really great about these is that they're very handbag friendly, the lids don't fall off and they don't melt in heat like some creamy lipsticks can.

Let me go into a little detail about the separate colours. I'm sorry to say I don't have any swatches because the lighting just didn't pick up a very true colour but like I said before the stick colour is true to life.

Firstly the red, this is 10 Rouge Buzz. I bought this back in July and was my staple summer red, I love the orangy red tone. It's very bright, not too daring and easy to wear, I think a lot of skin tones what suit this shade. The slight shine it has doesn't make it too intense like some matte shades can and when it starts to wear off (after I would say a good 5 hours) it fades quite evenly and still carries a slight tinge. Although it's winter this is a must have for summer but I might try wearing it with an all black outfit.

My second colour is this dusty pink which is 17 Rose Millésime (which was featured in my November Favourites). I love this shade, it's such a wearable day and night colour. It's like a your lips but better but a bright version. I like that it can make a smokey eye pop or an everyday look brighten. Since I bought this shade it has never left my handbag. I will say that I'm not sure if it's for everybody because of the tone of pink, but if it's for you it's a big winner. For me I don't feel like I suit peachy pinks so this is a nice alternative.

I got mine from Boots and Superdrug where most Bourjois stands tend to have most of the shades. The rouge editions also have a shine series which contain a quarter gloss within the formula but I've never used any as I reach for the Bourjois Colour Boost range instead. Anyways you can get hold of these for £7.99 which is pretty good for what I would say is a high quality drugstore lipstick with good results.

That's it for my review on these Bourjois lipsticks, I hope you've enjoyed reading and it's come of some help to you. Have any of you used the Rouge Edition lipsticks, what were your thoughts?

Also I've been posting everyday over on my Instagram of what I've been getting in my Boots beauty advent calendar, I'll also be posting at the end of the week a round up of what I got so follow me on Bloglovin too!

November Favourites.

Hey Guys,

November is quickly forgotten for most but for me it has been my best month of the year, so many good things have happened and I'm sad yet excited for December to make an appearance. As November is behind us it's only right to show you what I've been loving throughout the month. Although most of my picks are quite general and not very specific just because I loved everything in November even down to my hangover the day after graduation haha.

Midi Rings/ Primark. Costa Coffee Club Card. Bourjois Rouge Edition/ 17 Rose Millésime. Bourjois Colour Boost/ 06 Plum Russian. Orly Nail Varnish/ Naughty.

Like I said above my favourites are quite general but lets get going.

Starting with Costa. I have just been really loving Costa recently, I've always favoured Costa over Starbucks, not really sure why. Just on a cold day I love popping into Costa picking up a Hazelnut Latte and having a sit down for a while. I feel Coffee shops especially around this time of year, they just feel really charismatic. I remember in collage first year before we started going to pubs we would always go to Cafe Nero in our free periods, sit in the same place, have the same drink and just chatter the day away.

Second kind of general favourite is dark nail varnishes. I've never been into dark colours on my tips because I feel they looked strange against my pale skin but this year I've really got into them. I think with nail varnishes, when I was at uni, it tended to be black or pink. Now though you can get so many nice navy tones and burgundy shades it's like a winter wardrobe has opened up for me in the nails department.
Jumper £14.99/ Black Dress £29.99/ Red Dress £19.99
My third general favourite is H&M. I've never been a big shopper there because they don't really cater for the bigger figure, but now I've lost 2 stone I'm loving it! I got my graduation dress, a red dress and a orange christmasy winter jumper (as you can see above) which I've already started wearing to death. I love going in there now knowing theres a chance the cloths will fit, such a good feeling.

My final general favourite is midi-rings, mine are just sets from Primark which cost about £1.50 each pack. When midi-rings first came out I though it was a bit of an odd trend but I've been loving them. I especially love my moustache one!

Whats a monthly favourite without a couple of lipsticks, my two this month are both from Bourjois. First up in from the colour boost range which essentially are a chubby stick dupe, a very good dupe at that. I love the Bourjois ones there so glossy, pigmented and not drying. I especially love this dark plum colour with is perfect for the winter months. I like that because it's glossy the deep colour doesn't look too vampy just a nice almost fresh winter lip colour.

My second Bourjois colour is from the Rouge Edition. I already own a bight reddy orange and loved the formula so I recently picked up a dusky pinky tone. What I like about this colour is it's not bright or dark it's just a nice everyday colour which turns everyday make-up looking a bit brighter.

Well thats all my favourite from the month. What have you been loving in November and what are you looking forward to in December??

Also quick mention I got the Boots beauty advent calendar and will be posting everyday on my Instagram (click me) with what I got, I will also do a round up at the end of the week on here.

Did you catch my posts from the weekend well you can catch up here:

The Christmas Tag!

Hello December 1st! This morning I was very happily greeted by my first beauty advent calendar. I am so excited for this. It's the Boots version which I love because it means you get a variety of goodies not just one brand. The annoying thing is theres a list on the back of what it contains so after seeing one I flipped it back over, not wanting to ruin the surprise. Door one contained a travel size Soap&Glory Clean, Girls body wash. So far so good. What I'm going to do is Instagram what I get each day and probably do a round up at the end of the week so for any one who's interested can see what's behind each door.

Back to the title of this post. Whilst browsing Bloglovin on a Sunday morning, as you do, I saw this tag done by the amazing Georgina over at Makeup-Pixi3 (I love her blog way too much). With the Christmas countdown starting I thought it was only appropriate to get me into the festive mood. Lets go!

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
Always always real! On the first weekend of December every year my dad and I would go pick out a tree, bring it home, decorate, finishing the day with a Chinese take-away. Sorted. I also love the smell and you just cannot beat a real tree!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
It has always been a Hazelnut latte for me, every time, but recently I've been venturing out and quite liking gingerbread lattes. Anyone got any other good suggestions for me to try?

My tree last year.
3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
In my family it's either red, green and gold or blue, pinks and silver (my parents get a bit OCD about the tree). My favourite though is red and gold but I do like multicoloured lights and glitter.

4.  Giving or receiving?
I've always been a present giving, even going to the extent of making up why I have presents for people throughout the year. I like thinking through what I'm going to buy and always end up more excited than them about the present haha. Although I love receiving a good thoughtful surprise present, there the best kind.

5.  To mince pie or not to?
You can't go wrong with a homemade mince pie.

6.  What's your traditional sunday lunch?
Turkey with all the trimming including the sprouts! I've taking over the cooking of the Christmas dinner in the last year and I don't cut corners, my family never have. My dad makes the world's best homemade stuffing though, my friend comes to my house just for the stuffing.

7.  Christmas day fashion
Christmas morning is PJ's (normally ones I've been given xmas eve) then once presents are opened I tend to change and go for smart but comfy although last year I embraced the xmas jumper!

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?
I'm sorry to say I'm not a big xmas song fan but I do love me a bit of The Pogues 'FairyTale of New York'.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
Mine is a short film and a kids film at that. It used to be on at about 6am in the morning Christmas day but it's now moved to a more normal time of about 9/10am, it's like they knew I grew up so changed the timing haha. Anyways it's called Lost and Found, originally a book, but it's about a penguin who gets lost so this little boy helps him get back home. It's so cute I love it.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
Before, pretty much as soon as we wake up.

That's it for my 2013 Christmas Tag, I'm totally in the Christmas spirt now and I hope you are to! Now you've read my answers go check Georgina out here and then tag your it go do your own and pass the Xmas cheer around, go on dare ya.

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram for my beauty calendar updates or Bloglovin' for a weekly round up on here, as well as my normal postings/ ramblings

Latest in Beauty 'The Glamour Beauty Edit' Box Opening and Reviews.

Hey Guys,

I never been a subscriber or ever purchased a beauty box, purely because I can't afford it right now, but it's something I've always been interested in. When I saw this box on my friends Instagram I had buy it because it contained three products I've always wanted to try. I've had this box for nearly 2 weeks now and haven't touched any products yet because I wanted to not only show you whats in the box but also a review from first time use kind of thing. Whilst giving these reviews I'm literally testing as I write.

The box I bought was from 'Latest in Beauty' which is designed to let you try before you buy kind of deal. Although this box they have created by pairing up with GLAMOUR magazine and have picked the ultimate party must haves to get you through the party season. If you want to check them out you can here. This box cost me £14.95 +P&P and it's products are worth £65 what a steal!

The box itself is a lovely sleek black box with gold trimmings with all the products nested on a shredded paper layer, all sealed in a lining of tissue paper with a gold sticker. Worst description ever, but what I'm trying to say is the packaging is really nice and presented beautifully.

Once you've opened up the tissue paper all the products are laid out waiting for you, theres 7 products in total which is a bargain for the price you pay. There are also two cards in there one which is a note from Alessandra Steinherr (Beauty Director, GLAMOUR magazine) and a short run down of what the box contains. The other card is special offers of the products in the box if you wanted to go on and buy full size ones. Heres what the box contains and my initial thoughts...

Toni&Guy Glamour firm hold hairspray 75ml I haven't used this one yet because I'm not a big everyday hair spray user but the packaging is like a caramel colour which is nice. The smell of the spray is surprisingly pleasant as I find some just smell like plastic and vodka mixed together. I normally use hairspray for when I curl my hair and I tend to spray it on my hands first then scrunch into my hair. When I spray this on my hand it doesn't feel sticky which is a good sign and the smell left is kind of fruit and soapy. Overall I'm quite excited to use this on my hair and I'll get back to you on how it goes.

Philip Kingsley One More Day dry shampoo 50ml This is a little smaller than the hairspray bottle but a very good handbag size for on the go. The packaging is white with reddy brown writing and it doesn't really smell of much unlike normal drugstore dry shampoos. As soon as I sprayed it on my roots I noticed it does leave a light residue, which actually works for me because I'm blonde so it makes my roots less dark. It takes a while to work into the hair to reduce the lightness it leaves, so far I wouldn't recommend for people with darker or coloured hair. It does say what is says on the tin nevertheless and leaves the hair looking and feeling fresher. For me though I'm sticking to my trusty favourite Girlz Only Dry Shampoo (review here) for now.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Hydration I'm quite fond of the Baby Lips from Maybelline and already own Peach Kiss and Intense Care. I really like the pink on blue packaging for the Hydration stick and the smell reminds me of gummy bears or those kind of gummy sweets. The product is clear with no tint to the lips like some of it's sisters in the range. It glides on nicely to the lips and it's not too waxy which is nice although I'm not sure about the smell now it's on the lips. It's a nice little product to hydrate the lips especially through the winter months and it's fun packaging is cute too.

balance Me extra care radiance oil 10ml This is a product which is very new to me, I've never used a face oil before. It says it's suppose to 'smooth away the years' and you apply it morning and night either before moisturising or leave alone to give the skin back it's radiance. It has a rollaball applicator and the smell isn't the most pleasant but has that organic product smell, hard to describe but it's not offensive. Application is easy although for me it takes a while to sink into the skin and feels a little greasy. I'm not sure what one application will do so I'll have to get back with a proper review after a few uses.

The next few products are the reason I bought the box and have been so excited to use!

Eyeko Lash Curlers Lash curlers are a big tool in my make-up bag although I've never spent much on them just £1 from Primark! They've always done the trick and I thought why would more expensive ones work better, surely theres not too much difference. These curlers are silver with blue silicone rubber pads and blue velvet handles. On first use they feel a bit smaller to what I'm used to and the handles feels odd but a good odd. The curl they give is really nice and they don't pinch like my Primark ones. Overall a nice tool which does feel nicer than my cheap Primark ones and these are not too bank breaking either at around £10-£12.

Benefit they're Real mascara 3.0g I have always been a Maybelline falsies gall and really enjoy using it although this is a mascara I've always had my eyes one. I've never purchased the Benefit one because mascaras can be very touch and go to finding the right one for you, so I wasn't going to risk buying this at around £17 for it not to work. I'm a little in limbo with this one as it's really nice, drys quickly, easy application and the results are amazing although I would say at this point it's just as good as my Maybelline the faslies. I'm going to have to do more experimenting with these to see which comes out on top but I can definitely see why people love this Benefit mascara so much. Although my dad at dinner did ask if I was wearing false lashes so I suppose that kind of says something haha.

Last but not least this is the main event for me and the main reason I bought this beauty box!

HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette in Foxy I have had my eyes on this for so so long but could never part with my money to get it, I know it's only around £20 but for me that's quite a lot. I got sent the 'Foxy' palette and from sight it's looks perfect for me. What I really like is that it's designed for brows but can be used for a smokey eye and all the shades are matte. These days I find most palettes contain mostly shimmery shades and little matte so this is great. The shadows to touch feel quite creamy yet with a powder consistency and highly pigmented. Although once touched with a brush they are like a thick powder constancy. On my eyebrows I used the light brown colour and loved the results. I also used them to create a kind of smokey eye although the colours are very pigmented so not really suitable for the day but when I do a night time look this is my first point of call. I am so happy I've finally got this in my life.

Heres a look I created using all the products from the box..

I hope you've enjoyed my unboxing and quick reviews of each product. I will be reviewing a few of the products in full so don't forget to follow my blog on Bloglovin for that. Also if you follow me it gives me a chance to check out new blogs and which I love doing!

I would love to hear in the comments below if any of you have used any products mentioned above and what you think of them?
