October Favourites

Hey Guys,

It's the first Monday of the month which means it's my monthly favourites time. I love October, it's my second favourite month of the year. I love October because it's got that chill in the air yet the suns still out and the changing colour of the leaves I just think it's beautiful. Especially as I live in the country side on top of a hill the views are just so picturesque. I'm not normally a fan of November/ December but this year is special as my brother is coming home! Anyway lets get down to business- heres my October Favourites..

Nivea Express Hydration Primer/ Nivea Lip Butter/ Maybelline Super Stay 24hr Foundation/ Revlon Lip Butter/ MUA Lipstick/ Twinning's Teas.

Lets start with face products.

First one is the newish Nivea 2 in 1 moisturiser primer. Everyday before putting on my make-up I always always use a moisturiser, until I started discovering primers, although I found it was just another step in a long process. When I found this little beauty it was a must try for me and I haven't looked back since. It's such a nice light formula where you don't need much and it just leaves a nice layer on your skin. I strongly recommend this as I feel it works perfectly as a moisturiser and keeps your make-up in tacked like a primer.

Next is a Nivea lip butter, I have the vanilla and macadamia one and my god it smells so good. It's so creamy and glides on your lips leaving them soft and smooth. I prefer it so much to Vaseline as can be quite greasy although it's a bit to creamy for an on the go kind of thing.

Finally in face products is quite a new thing for me. I've always used the same foundation for years and years till recently it wasn't working for me so I tried a new one. Bottom line I love it! It's a lot thicker and dries quickly so you have to work fast but the coverage is good and the colour match for me is perfect. I have it in 21 Nude and it leaves a nice flawless cover.

This month my choice of lip colours was split. The first half I was really into deep reds and loved this MUA red (you can see my review here) it's so easy to apply, lasts forever and its only a pound. The second half of the month was a new purchase in the shape of a Revlon lip butter, I have the shade macaroon and it's such a nice 'your lips but better' which glides on your lips and just feels really nice.

Lastly is a bit of an odd favourite but it's these Twinings teas. I have been drinking a lot of green tea as part of my diet but the amount of caffeine in them where becoming a problem as I don't like the decaf one. These are a great alternative, the 'detox' one smells like lemon sherbet and taste like weak lemon which I find nice and refreshing. The 'digest' one is minty, sweet and kind of spicy. I wouldn't say it's for everyone but I really like it and because of dieting I'm always bloated but this tea really settles it.

That's it quite a short favourites this month but I have something special coming very soon so stay posted and follow me on Bloglovin' for updates!
